Description:
| Volunteer activities include helping with: labeling species, planting saplings, taking plant inventories, caring for Orchid Nursery, teaching English to local children, maintaining trails (they have trails within the garden, and in the 1,200 hectare rain forest biological reserve).
Costs:
* $695 (not including international airfare)

Includes:
Lodging: Cabin shared by three volunteers. Single rooms are available for an additional fee.
Meals: Three delicious meals per day are included.
Transportation: Airport Transfers are included.
Optional Excursions (Three Tours) for $60
1. Boat Tour out to Punta Sal in Jeannette Kawas National Park.
2. Kayak tour through mangrove forests at Punta Izopo National Park, then a typical Garifuna lunch on the beach at Triunfo de la Cruz, a Garifuna village.
3. River rafting on the Rio Cangrejal.
Work Schedule (4 DAYS PER WEEK): 9:00 am – 12:00pm and 1:00 –4:00pm, from Monday to Thursday. There is no work on weekends. Volunteers have time to enjoy the Tela beach, National Park Blanca Janeth Kawas, Pico Bonito Fundation, Cuero y Salado Fundation and other beautiful place near Tela. There is also the possibility of visiting the Bay Islands, The Copan Ruins, etc. | |
